Dr. Cathy Luchini
Abigail, Dental Assistant
Abigail has been with The Kidds Place since being a 2019 honor grad of the Spokane Community College Dental Assisting Program.
She believes that every child deserves access to the best-quality dental care in a cheerful environment and in a manner that suits their needs. Wanting patients at The Kidds Place to have an exciting and friendly visit filled with sparkling smiles and good memories, she loves getting to know every kid and helping them get on track for healthy habits at home.
In her free time, you can find Abigail with her family and friends, creating beautiful landscape acrylic paintings, thrift shopping, and spending time outdoors.
Amy, Registered Dental Hygienist
Amy graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene and has been with The Kidds Place since 2007.
Amy’s goal is to teach children about oral health and make every child’s experience a fun-filled, safe, and creative adventure. She wants kids to leave the office with a smile, feeling proud of themselves after a comfortable and positive experience at the dentist.
With two young boys, Amy and her husband are kept very busy with sports events and volunteering at their school. In her spare time, Amy enjoys camping with family and friends, building puzzles, and reading.
Ana, Dental Assistant
Ana has been a dental assistant with The Kidds Place since joining the dental industry in 2018.
Her goal is for patients at The Kidds Place to have the best dental experience possible and to leave educated. Most importantly, she wants them to leave with a smile!
Ana has a hidden talent: she’s crafty! Her creative spirit makes her a joy around the office.
Becky graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BS in dental hygiene in 2007 and has been with The Kidds Place team since 2015.
Dentistry is Becky’s passion. Working with kids makes her heart happy, and she loves helping kids through their dental experience in a way that lets them have a fun time, gain knowledge in a safe environment, and have pride in knowing they can do hard things.
Becky lives in Spokane with her husband and two daughters. She spends her free time creating art, traveling, camping, fishing, and any other outdoor activity she can do with her family.
Lisa, Scheduling Coordinator
Lisa has lived in Spokane for over 25 years and has been a part of The Kidds Place team for over 10 of them.
She wants patients and parents to feel like they are part of the family at The Kidds Place — this is a fun and safe place where we all care about each patient!
Lisa and her husband have been married for 17 years, and they stay busy keeping up with their three boys. When Lisa is not building relationships with the great staff at The Kidds Place, she loves spending time outdoors.
Jodi, Front Desk
Jodi has been with The Kidds Place since 2007, although she has been in the dental industry for over twenty years.
Making sure that every patient feels welcome when they walk in the door at The Kidds Place, she helps patients have a happy and positive experience — and walk away with the skills to stay cavity-free.
Jodi has lived in the Spokane area all her life, now living on a small hobby farm with her husband and three kids. She enjoys riding horses, hunting, and fishing, and her hidden talent is that she can sew!
Karen, Dental Assistant
Karen came to work with The Kidds Place in 2019, bringing 18 years’ experience in the dental industry with her.
Throughout her career, Karen has been passionate about helping patients experience a fear-free visit to the dentist and leaving with a smile. At The Kidds Place, she also loves helping young patients learn how to care for their oral health, as well as to understand the connection between their mouths and their overall physical health.
Originally from Virginia, Karen served in the Marines for 7½ years. But her most challenging occupation has been being a mother to three daughters. When she has free time, she enjoys quilting, crocheting (hats are her specialty), and playing video games.
Katie, Dental Assistant
Katie has been a pediatric dental assistant since 2008, and a proud member of The Kidds Place team since 2013.
Katie’s favorite part of her job is making sure that when a kid comes in timid or anxious, they leave smiling. She treats every patient with TLC so they can experience laughter and confidence while they learn how to take care of their teeth.
Born in British Columbia, Canada, Katie and her husband love traveling to the Oregon Coast with their two children, having movie dates, and playing outside. Her favorite season is winter because she loves all things snow, and her hidden talent is that she can touch her tongue to her nose.
